I lead media and communications strategic planning and delivery for Aruma, to strengthen the awareness and reputation of the organisation. I manage a team of two direct reports who are communications officers. On a daily basis, I advise on internal and day-to-day communications for major initiatives including service agreement updates and participants and staff moving homes. I protect the reputation of the organisation by creating and implementing crisis communications strategies, such as company acquisitions and business closures. I support the implementation of Aruma’s brand strategy, brand positioning and visual identity by ensuring the ‘You. First’ customer promise is at the forefront of all communications.

I led media and communications strategic planning and delivery for the Inland Rail Beveridge (formerly Tottenham) to Albury project. I ensured local communities were engaged and informed on project plans and consultation in their local communities, across North East Victoria. In order to develop current content, I managed contractors supporting the project, including videographers and web developers. I managed integrated campaigns across digital and traditional platforms, such as the We're Here and We're Listening campaign to re-engage communities during COVID-19 lockdowns and Planning Scheme Amendment exhibition, which both involved registered post mail-outs, fact sheets, videos, social media advertising, newspaper/radio advertising and media engagement.

I led strategic stakeholder engagement and communications planning to inform and engage internal and external stakeholders about $400m 350 Firefighter Program, hiring firefighters, building fire stations and moving workforce around to support growth. I established highly effective Stakeholder Engagement and Communications workshops to support integration of brigades and establishment of new fire stations. I managed contractors supporting the project in change management and stakeholder engagement, including to develop videos and establishing the Growth Programs Online Hub, which was a Sharepoint site designed to support brigades moving into new fire stations.
